For example the ‘three in a bed’ shaft set is created from the Xtra template which is more of an oval shape with a point at the end which means that it has a smaller surface area than the diamond shaped Plus collection. The rounded curve also improves it aerodynamic properties, whereas the larger Plus which has a wide surface area is great for drag resistance. Therefore it is player preference as to which shape to go for.

The Polyflite range of Unicorn dart flights are made from a polyester film to make them more durable. By using a polyester film, the dart flights have an increased level of flexibility to reduce the impact of shock when in play as they are able to flex. However, as they are flexible, they are still tough as they are able to fold comfortably without any force. Plus as they have used a polyester film, the longevity of the flights is lengthened as they do not age as much as those with plasticisers.
