Tour de France is an annual multiple stage bicycle race, held in France but may also pass through other countries. This race consists of a 21 day-long segments over a 23-day period and will cover around 2,200 miles. Each of the 22 teams includes a total of nine riders. All of the stages are timed to the finish; after finishing the riders’ times are compounded with their previous stage times and the rider with the lowest time will be the race leader and gets to wear a yellow jersey.
